Our Story

Preserving Africa's Literary Heritage

We are dedicated to celebrating, preserving, and promoting African literature and storytelling for generations to come.

How It All Began

Founded in 2015, our organization emerged from a simple yet powerful observation: African stories were disappearing, untold and unrecorded, taking with them centuries of wisdom, culture, and heritage.

What started as a small gathering of writers and literary enthusiasts in Nairobi has grown into a pan-African movement, connecting writers, readers, and cultural preservationists across the continent and beyond.

We believe that every story matters, every voice deserves to be heard, and every narrative contributes to the rich tapestry of African heritage.
